Recorded corrections
These are the corrections recorded in each page’s own history, newest page records first as kept by that page. Each page also shows its history in its sources section. Changes made before these records were kept are not reconstructed here.
Immigration
2026-10-11
Removed an unsupported inference that London’s total population fell: the figure describes net internal migration only. Corrected visual records to administrative-data estimates and made the asylum badge’s recent comparison explicit.
Polling
24 October 2026
Refreshed the poll table (checked 24 October 2026): newer YouGov, More in Common and Find Out Now polls replaced their earlier rows, each read from the pollster’s own tables. The count of polls with Labour ahead of Reform UK is now computed from the stored rows and states the number of polls and the check date. The 2024 accuracy figures were re-checked against the British Polling Council’s published table of the 19 final polls and are unchanged. No polling average or seat forecast is published.
11 October 2026
Updated three rows from original October workbooks. Clarified selected coverage, UK/GB populations, sample versus headline bases and the Ipsos less-than-0.5% value. No polling average or seat forecast is published.
Party comparison
2026-10-11
All seven individual party pages now use the same original-manifesto evidence as this comparison. Clarified GP full-time equivalents and appropriate-practice-staff access in the Liberal Democrat proposal; distinguished published costings from validated funding and UK government delivery from devolved records. Original PDFs and dated IFS reactions rechecked.
Inequality
2026-10-11
Restored the missing financial year beside the deep-material-poverty estimate: FYE 2025. The number and uncertainty statement are unchanged.
Electoral system
11 October 2026
Rebuilt the displayed eight-election history from official national tables and individual candidate results. Corrected 2015 Labour seats from 231 to 232 and reconciled 1997 votes, including Northern Ireland. Earlier unreconciled history is held. The 2024 detailed index is now explicitly labelled as thirteen groups, not full individual-party detail. Updated the commission announcement and separated the 2011 referendum precedent from a legal requirement.
Energy
2026-10-11
Clarified that the cash cap comparison ends in October–December 2026, while the available inflation-adjusted comparison ends in July–September 2026.
Inflation
2026-10-11
Removed a falling-rate chapter heading while the latest monthly comparison rises. The linked Scale Check now compares monthly 12-month CPI rates, rather than mixing an annual average with a monthly rate.
Defence
2026-10-11
Made both quarterly personnel dates explicit: the July headline count and the April annual-series comparison describe different dates.
Economy
24 October 2026
The headline changed from productivity to real household income per head (income-first), at the owner’s decision of 24 October 2026. Output per hour is now the first explanation under “Why it is happening”. The 11 October median-pay finding was the public headline until this version was released on 3 November 2026.
20 October 2026
The page led with slow productivity growth, at the owner’s instruction of 20 October 2026. The 11 October median-pay finding remains below as the living-standards evidence.
11 October 2026
The page now leads with the 1996–2025 median full-time pay comparison. The previous 2007–2025 mean-pay comparison remains in the historical evidence; the figures and underlying records have not changed.
Public finances
2026-10-11
Corrected visual evidence labels: these are provisional fiscal outturn estimates, not survey estimates. Clarified that the debt-interest ratio uses public-sector current receipts.
Manifesto tracker
2026-10-11
Added the published NHS activity and neighbourhood-policing measures; corrected the employment introduction deadline, tax scope and opposition targets. Replaced the later NHS 10-Year Plan proxy with the original 18-week commitment. Growth is unassessable without a sustained-period definition; arrivals alone no longer grade the smuggling-and-returns pledge. Removed unsupported health projections from the registry.
